Hello, I'm Karin Frisk!
I am a 25-year-old nonbinary Finnish graphic designer and photographer. I grew up in Porvoo, Finland, and have always dreamed of studying, working, and living abroad.
I started doing photography at age 10 and was gifted my dad's camera at age 12. I've been doing photography as both a hobby and freelance ever since. I am mainly self-taught and am still learning new techniques.
In 2018, I finished an interior design degree at Inveon Vocational School in Finland. I then began my bachelor's degree in graphic design at the University of Worcester, which I am completing this year. I also had the chance to go study abroad at Pusan National University in South Korea for the academic year 2020/21.
My other passions include video games, anime, tattoos, special effects makeup, horror movies, and learning languages.
I am fluent in three languages─Finnish, Swedish, and English─and I have intermediate-level proficiency in Korean. I wish to learn Japanese and sign language (ASL or BSL) in the future.
I plan on learning as much as possible about graphic design as well as photography and create a niche specialty for myself down the line. I would love the opportunity to relocate to a completely different country for work. I'm happy as long as I keep discovering, learning, living, and experiencing new things.
